Hello Mina the great. Hope all is well. Can you please tell me where in the css style sheet I go to change the text size on blog postings?

Re: rename "Home" in Wasteland theme

Try this...go into style.css and find this line:
  Code:
.entry { font-size: 1.02em; background: url(images/dot.gif) repeat-x scroll 0pt 100% !important; line-height: 1.42em; padding: 0 0 10px 0; }

Now you need to change the value for font-size: in that line. You can either keep using the em settings or if you prefer you can change it to px settings which more people seem to like better.

Re: rename "Home" in Wasteland theme

Hello Again Mina. I really love you.

I have been racking my brain and cannot figure this out. I want to be able to change the font color of a title to a posting or page to black but want to keep all my links and hover over links in blue. If I change this line (only line I can think of to change) to have a black color, then it changes all my links to black as well: a:link, a:visited { text-decoration: none; color: #0000ff; }

I have included a JPG of a page with the title in blue and all my links on that page in blue.

Can you help?

Try this...go into style.css and find this line:
  Code:
.post h2 { font-size: 1.5em; margin: 0 0 0 5px; padding-top: 5px; }

And change it to:
  Code:
.post h2, .post h2 a { font-size: 1.5em; margin: 0 0 0 5px; padding-top: 5px; color: #000;}

How's that work?

Re: rename "Home" in Wasteland theme

Hello Mina the Great! Hope you are well.

Is there a piece of code I can add to make the RSS icon in the header show above any photo I put in there? I'm kind of stupid so I take the blank header out of the images folder, take it to photoshop and add my image, then put it back in the theme folder and upload to wordpress. If I have covered the area where the RSS icon is supposed to be with my photo, it won't show like the attachment I have included. Is it a "Z"-index setting? If so, where would I put that coding? Any chance you got a rabbit in your hat? Thanks a bunch in advance.

It should still show no matter what image you use in the header. Did you make any changes to the header.php file?

Re: rename "Home" in Wasteland theme

Yes. Here is what I am currently using for the header.php:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head profile="http://gmpg.org/xfn/11">

<title><?php bloginfo('name'); ?><?php wp_title(); ?></title>

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="<?php bloginfo('html_type'); ?>; charset=<?php bloginfo('charset'); ?>" />
<meta name="generator" content="Bluefish 1.0.7"/> <!-- leave this for stats please -->

<link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_url'); ?>" type="text/css" media="screen" />
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> RSS Feed" href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>" />
<link rel="alternate" type="text/xml" title="RSS .92" href="<?php bloginfo('rss_url'); ?>" />
<link rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml" title="Atom 0.3" href="<?php bloginfo('atom_url'); ?>" />
<link rel="pingback" href="<?php bloginfo('pingback_url'); ?>" />

<?php wp_get_archives('type=monthly&format=link'); ?>
<?php //comments_popup_script(); // off by default ?>
<?php if ( is_singular() ) wp_enqueue_script( 'comment-reply' ); ?>
<?php wp_head(); ?>
</head>
<body>
<div id="wrapper">
<div id="main_content">
<div id="header-wrap">

<div class="header">
<div class="subscribe"><a href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>" title="<?php _e('Add this blog to any reader'); ?>"><img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory'); ?>/images/rss.gif" alt="RSS" /></a></div>

</div>

</div>
<?php include('menu.php');?>

I made these changes because on this site, they didn't want the blog tab showing and no text in the header but the image. Funny, if I use the image I sent you, it won't show, but if I leave a tiny bit of brown in it, it will show and I have to leave a bit of room for the RSS icon. Attached is what I am using for now.
